結成から30周年を迎えた2022年、記念すべき最新アルバム『Heavy Rocks』を8月12日にリリース。本作を携えた、実に3年ぶりとなる6週間の全米ツアーから帰国後の10月に大阪・東京公演の開催が決定。

混迷と閉塞を脱ぎ捨て、新たな日常が各地に定着し始めたタイミングで行なわれるこれらの公演。新しい世界でまた芽吹くロックの息吹、未来を切り開く為の祝祭とも言えます。
10月16日の大阪では遂に共演となるGlam Rock最前線Young Parisian、10月23日の東京ではBoris最初のアメリカツアーを共にした盟友KIRIHITOがスペシャルゲストとして出演。

Borisにとって”Heavy Rocks”という言葉は己の姿勢・態度そのものであり、過去から未来に亘る揺るぎないテーマ。

遂に両者の共演するライブが開催決定。出演はCOALTAR OF THE DEEPERS、BORIS、そしてオープニングアクトのCOLLAPSE 。7月27日(水)に東京・吉祥寺 CLUB SEATAで行われます。

This year, 2022, marks the 30th year anniversary of Boris as a band. The band’s first live event to commemorate this occasion will also be their first show in front of a live audience in one year and three months. The band will perform their cult-classic album “Heavy Rocks” live with TOKIE, one of Japan’s leading bassists.
After their collaborations on last year’s single “Reincarnation Rose” and Boris’s latest album “W” earlier this year, Boris and TOKIE team up again to give a fresh, new perspective to a batch of songs from 20 years prior. This event will certainly be a special night, fitting of the Boris 30th anniversary year.

May 1, 2021, Boris releases to the world the visual soundscape of their release party for their album “NO” that took place in November of last year. This will be a stream of a video shot with a 360 degree camera that allows for audience participation; it is a live show that is only complete when the viewed by the audience.
